Youth Zionist Congress
?!
Who's ever heard of them
? ...
Well, to those who haven't
heard, Zionist Youth finally has it's own parliament, and the right to
decide by itself on important issues.
This was achieved in
December 1997, when, for the first time in history Zionist Youth Organizations
held their own Congress, parallel to the 33rd World Zionist Congress.
We, the Zionist Youth,
have only begun the process that will eventually give us full representation
and rights in all issues concerning education, Hagshama and Youth Organizations.
We are sure that with
your cooperation we will achieve the goals we set for ourselves as the
future generation.
We hope to see your representatives
at our next meeting.
The Presidium of the
First Zionist Youth Congress.
Organizer's word
Shalom and welcome to the
World Zionist Youth Congress. This site is designed to provide a forum
for the delegates of the Youth Congress to continue the work started at
the Congress in Jerusalem. The Youth Congress convened from January 19-26,
1997 with 160 Delegates from 30 countries and more than 25 youth movements
and organizations. The work done at the Congress was important, but we
must do more...We hope that this site will provide the base for further
participation and cooperation among youth from around the world. The site
contains a bulletin board for discussion and the posting of proposals for
action, a picture gallery, email addresses of the delegates and the Presidium,
and numerous links to other related sites and resources.
We welcome suggestions and input from
you. Anyone who can send us pictures for the gallery or would like their
email added to the address book please email us.
Thank you and enjoy!
