A Different Way of Thinking
Tsachi Amir Matmonaim
Purpose: Activity oriented introduction to Jewish
and Israeli values.
Process: Each activity has its own objective.
Texts are passed out and participants are asked to decipher them. They
are aimed at stimulating intellectual debate and thought and lead to
discussions lead by the facilitator on Jewish history, geography, Jewish
philosophy and Torah.
Implementors: Our own instructors.
Target Group: Appropriate for all ages from 10
years and up.
No. of Participants: 25-150.
Duration of Activity: 1 - 2 hours.
Location of Activity: Community center or hall
where groups of 6-12 at a table.
Aids and Materials: Sound System for speech;
Prizes.
Special Requirements: An open mind. Prior
knowledge of subjectis helpful, but not required.

Cape Town, So. Africa. He directed a community center near Rishon
Le'Zion and is a guest lecturer in Bar Ilan University.Mr. Amir's module
has been used extensively in Israel and the United Kingdom. Modules
available according to expressed needs of educational tour planners.
