Department Vision

The mission statement of the Department of Education of the Jewish Agency calls for intensifying the multi-dimensional significance of Israel in connecting the next generation of the Jewish People to its heritage, people and homeland.
Over the last few years, the Department has developed, along with its partners, new programs, materials, experiences and resources for the educational engagement with Israel in Jewish educational institutions around the world.
These programs aim to link the best of the educational and cultural resources of Israel and the Jewish People to the needs of Jewish educators and communities. Israel offers outstanding personnel, materials and experiences for Jewish education. At the same time, it has become clear that often these resources are not fully accessed and utilized because of inadequate information, awareness and delivery systems.
