We are pleased to inform you that the International Congress for School Principals and Directors of Jewish educational institutions in the Diaspora will be taking place this summer in Israel.

500 school principals and directors from all over the world will participate in this two week experience which will include:

· Workshops and lectures on General and Jewish Education from some of the foremost experts Discussions and meetings with Israeli professionals involved in the field

· Study tours around the country arranged according to tracks and special interests

· Displays of study material

· Special program for Shabbat Nahamu (optional)

This is also the first time our educators' congress will be conducted both in person and on the Internet. You can help set the agenda, present your work and read background material prepared by presenters, share ideas with other participants before the congress and continue to share after the congress in Israel is over. Organized and sponsored by the Department of Jewish Zionist Education in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture, The Teacher's Union and ORT International.

The costs of the Congress is subsidized (exclusive of travel expenses and Shabbat).
